Spring 2016 internship available – administrative assistant

The founder of TL and the TOGETHER! Network is seeking to fill an internship role for an Administrative Assistant in West Los Angeles.

As the Administrative Assistant, you will provide various kinds of administrative support directly working with the founder of TL and the TOGETHER! Network. The ideal candidate is highly organized, structured, responsible, and respectful, and needs to have the ability to be proactive, motivated, disciplined and committed to execute tasks and duties. Must be a “doer and action-oriented”, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.

Tatjana Luethi is a creative UX strategist, brand and design professional who is passionate about helping socially conscious companies generate an authentic and relatable brand. As a seasoned strategy facilitator, she synthesizes business, brand and user goals to activate impact, innovation and change for digital marketing initiatives.

Tatjana is also a founder of the TOGETHER! Network, which empowers purpose-driven female entrepreneurs via on-going education, programs and workshops to help them launch their own vision.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, formatting and maintaining contact lists in Google Docs and Excel spreadsheets via Google Drive
  • Copy / paste and format newsletters using Mailchimp, and Meetup.com
  • Copy / paste and format blog postings using WordPress Dashboard
  • Post social media message as per instructions
  • Establish surveys using Survey Monkey
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Help with event and project planning, and coordination

 

Requirements:

  • Must be available for a minimum of 8 – 10 hrs / week. More hours available if candidate desires.
  • Must be computer and internet savvy and can pick up new tools quickly
  • Must be familiar with using Google Drive: Google docs, excel, surveys, etc
  • Displays knowledge and personal experience of using Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+Local, Meetup, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.)
  • Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Display good time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Must be a team player and not be afraid to roll up sleeves and make things happen
  • Functional knowledge and/or personal experience with Mailchimp and WordPress Admin Dashboard a plus
  • Must have own computer
  • Must have a car
  • In-person or remote work flexibility
  • Completed at least 1 year of college
  • Must be local (West Los Angeles: MDR, PDR, Venice, Culver City, Santa Monica)

 

This is an unpaid Spring internship with the opportunity to transition into a paid role. This position is ideal for a college student or an individual in career transition who is passionate about being in a creative environment, that utilizes design-thinking strategies for business innovation and social change. Chance to transition into a paid freelance role after completion of a successful 4 – 6 month internship commitment.
